Who We Are
Light for the Children is a faith-based organization dedicated to providing holistic care, education, and support to orphans and vulnerable children in Namibia. Founded in 1999 within the community of Gobabis, we are driven by a passionate team committed to uplifting and empowering the lives of these children. Our Programs: Empowering Namibia’s Youth
Our Education Programme at Light for the Children is dedicated to providing quality education and nourishment to orphans and vulnerable children in Namibia. From early childhood development to primary education, we ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive academically and personally. Discover how we empower young minds and build a brighter future through education.
The Abba Group Programme at Light for the Children provides holistic support and mentorship for orphans and vulnerable children in Namibia. Our dedicated mentors guide approximately 80 children through their educational journey, offering homework assistance, emotional support, and spiritual growth. Join us in nurturing these young lives and helping them reach their full potential.
Our Side By Side Programme, in collaboration with the Side by Side foundation, provides essential care and support for children in Namibia. Through regular visits and assessments, our dedicated mentors address the needs of over 45 sponsored children, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and attention. Join us in making a meaningful impact on these young lives.
